MEET THE TEAM

 

Beechwood Forest Medical Centre is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Kitchener community. Our commitment to personalized care and high-quality medicine ensures that every patient receives the attention and support they deserve.

Our dedicated team includes two resident doctors, a nurse practitioner, an on-site cardiologist, and a welcoming group of receptionists. 

Dr Shakoor Mughal MD, CCFP, MRCGP, DO

Dr. Mughal has been practicing as a family physician in Canada since 2017. Before that, he gained valuable experience in the UK, where he completed his Family Medicine training in 2005. 

He has a special interest in diabetes management and has also trained as an ophthalmologist, holding a postgraduate diploma in Ophthalmology from London, UK.

In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Mughal is an avid runner.

Dr Arshad Muhammad MD, CCFP, MRCGP

Dr. Muhammad has been practicing as a family physician in Canada since 2017. Before relocating, he worked in England UK where he completed his Family Medicine training.

Dr. Muhammad has a strong interest in information technology and has successfully established the clinic's IT infrastructure. Additionally, he is an experienced DIY enthusiast, bringing hands-on skills to various projects.

Dr Syed Samir Najib MD, FRCPC, FACC 

Dr. Najib earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Dubai, UAE, completed an Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic’s Fairview Hospital in Ohio,, and pursued a Cardiology residency at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

He treats conditions including coronary artery disease, valvular and structural heart diseases, conduction disorders, and dyslipidemia.

Outside of work, Dr. Najib enjoys traveling, movies, and exploring new cuisines.
